A safe and efficient male external catheter that diverts urine without the need for a suction source
It uses a urine drainage bag instead of vacuum suction.
The QiVi – Lite male external catheter leverages the principle of siphon where a certain forward pressure is created by using differential pressures in a closed system.
This male urine catheter system addresses all the challenges and shortcomings commonly associated with a Foley Catheter or a Condom catheter and provides an efficacious solution for managing patients with urinary incontinence in settings like telemetry, skilled nursing facility, long term care, hospice or at home patients.
(These patients can also be managed by QiVi – MEC plus QiVi – AUM, if cost or reimbursement is not a factor).
Pouch orifice fits snugly around the base of the penile shaft and the suprapubic region. Works on retracted penis and abdominal pannus.
Breathable layer and strategically placed air vents maintain adequate microclimate keeping the anatomy dry and preventing IAD, MASD, and infections.
Ensures constant drainage of urine and prevents back-flow, further enhancing patient comfort.
Pouch design keeps the anatomy isolated and dry from collected urinary output.
Contours to the suprapubic region providing secure adhesion. Silicone based adhesive facilitates trauma-free removal and works even in the presence of moderate hair follicles.
Advanced pleated pouch design adds additional volume to the device while enhancing patient comfort.
